I checked my samba server and it already had that workgroup setting defined and set correctly. There must be something more to it than that.
Most of the users work fine but it seems randomly some users just act up. This is all on an LTSP server with the samba server virtualized on the same hardware so it's not like network latency is an issue. For one user I always without fail get that error message when going to the Bookmarks where I've bookmarked a samba share, and clicking on that bookmark. The 1st time I always get that error, every time after that it works fine. Removing the keyring resolves the issue but prompts for login each time. Browsing to it in nautilus or using the bookmark, both have the same result. First time it fails with the DBus error, every time after that it works fine until you logout and log back in. -- cant browse/mount windows shares in nautilus 10.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/544847 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
