Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Nautilus → Edit → Preferences → Behaviour has an option "I_nclude a Delete
command that bypasses Trash".
If this is unticked (default) one would expect there is no way to bypass the
trash from nautilus. Actually it only only adds / removes "Delete" option to
context menu and Shift+Delete still works.
