Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
when I press windows-R key combination on my desktop (before my upgrade to maverick I used this combination instead of the default alt-F2). whenever I press it, i get a warning that an application crashed an no backtrace can be created. .xsession-errors says (nautilus:2397): GConf-CRITICAL **: gconf_value_free: assertion `value != NULL' failed ptrace: Operation not permitted. /home/xxx/2397: No such file or directory. No stack. (nautilus:2417): Eel-WARNING **: "nautilus-directory.c: directories" hash table still has 14 elements at quit time Initializing nautilus-gdu extension (nautilus:2426): GConf-CRITICAL **: gconf_value_free: assertion `value != NULL' failed Nautilus-Share-Message: Called "net usershare info" but it failed: 'net usershare' returned error 255: info_fn: file /var/lib/samba/usershares/users is not a well formed usershare file. info_fn: Error was Path is not a directory. info_fn: file /var/lib/samba/usershares/program files is not a well formed usershare file. info_fn: Error was Path is not a directory. info_fn: file /var/lib/samba/usershares/mp3 is not a well formed usershare file. info_fn: Error was Path is not a directory. I've no idea why no backtrace can be created because I've already installed gnome-dbg. after the crash notification the desktop icons re-appear.
