Just upgraded to maverick beta and I confirm this. In previous Ubuntu versions, a click on the close button of rhythmbox minimized it to tray. Now, it closes :(
So to keep music playing, we must let it minimized in the panel ... Maybe a change was made in default configuration in gconf ? but it's, for me, a regression ...
