Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
This happens very often when the computer starts up. Achter loging in, gnome-panel starts, but doesn't draw the indicators that load very well. Mostly some indicator icons appear double or half. The workaround I've found is to pkill gnome-panel , which will make gnome-panel get reloaded and then everything appears drawn correctly ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: gnome-panel 1:2.30.2-1ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-20.29-generic 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-20-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia wl Architecture: amd64 Date: Tue Sep 7 16:09:14 2010 GConfNonDefault: /apps/panel/general/applet_id_list=[fast_user_switch_screen0,trashapplet_screen0,workspace_switcher_screen0,window_list_screen0,show_desktop_button_screen0,indicator_applet_screen0,notification_area_screen0,clock_screen0] /apps/panel/general/object_id_list=[menu_bar_screen0,object_0] /apps/panel/general/toplevel_id_list=[bottom_panel_screen0,top_panel_screen0] InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Beta amd64 (20100901.1) ProcEnviron: LANG=it_IT.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-panel ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug maverick -- gnome-panel doesn't draw indicators nicely after booting up https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/632425 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
