Not only do I not use a password to log on, I also have the screensaver set to not require a password when interrupted. So it is odd that power management requires one when resuming. To me it seems that the screensaver setting and the logon setting should be one and the same and should match the PM resume behaviour as well. Either you need a password to use the machine (non-su), or you don't! Then there is the keyring password to consider ...
