I was looking for a keyboard combination to take screenshot of a specific selection. This is not available by default. We have Print (PrtScr) and Alt+Print (PrtScr) to mean either take the screenshot of an entire desktop or that of a Window currently in focus. Basically, I am asking for a keyboard shortcut that is equivalent of "Cmd+Shift+4" on a Mac that takes the screenshot (brings the crosswires to select an area) of a selection. I'd suggest we make the default Ctrl+Alt+Print (similar to Print and Alt+Print). ** Affects: hundredpapercuts Importance: Wishlist Status: Confirmed ** Affects: libgnomekbd Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu) Importance: Wishlist Status: Confirmed -- Add a keyboard shortcut by default for take screenshot of a selection" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/625518 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
