Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
I am using Ubuntu 10.04 x86 with kernel 2.6.32-24-generic on a Dell Latitude D420. Although the option "Dim display when idle" is ticked for when the laptop is on battery power, the display does not dim. Obviously I expect the display to dim after the specified amount of time. Attached is a log created using the command gnome-power-manager --verbose 2>&1 | tee ~/gpm.log I found from another bug.
