I was having the same problem with a Zen Mozaic and I simply checked the Use Crossfading option under Edit>Preferences>Playback then restarted Rythembox and it worked fine. Not sure if this is a permanent fix or not but I have listened to 3 songs from beginning to end with no issues. Another note, I didn't change any of the slider bar options. Mine is currently set to>> Crossfade Duration (Seconds) : 0.0 Network Buffer Size (kB) : 32
