I am sorry you are having that difficulty. You can edit the
/etc/apt/sources.list file as follows:

Please be very careful doing this.
1. open a terminal window - Applciations -> Accessories -> Terminal
2. type without quotes "cd /etc/apt" and hit ENTER
3. type without quotes "sudo mousepad /etc/apt/sources.list" and hit ENTER
4. Add a # in front of lines starting with "deb cdrom: " (without the quotes)
5. Left-click File, left-click Save
6. Close mousepad by clicking in the upper right corner.

It should not ask for the cd again
