In my situation, the sound icon has disappeared, whereas most people are complaining about doubling the sound icon. It is really quite odd, because the sound icon is part of the indicator-applet, and other indicators like network manager are (still) visible; that means that somewhere, the configuration of that particular applet has gone wrong.
Furthermore, the distance between the applets which have gained (by design) in 10.04, is back where is was before: now the applets are positioned right next to each other, just like it was in 9.10. I've upgraded from 9.10 to 10.04 several weeks ago and right after the upgrade, everything is fine. The disappearance of the sound icon and the removal of the distance space happened simultaneously, from about last week. -- visual corruption affecting several panel applets https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/439448 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
