Pixel_juice, was it the recent kernel upgrade that fixed things? I have actually managed to play audio CDs with VLC, and it no longer crashes nautilus. Sound Juicer is still not working, and Rhythmbox refuses to open when a disc is in the cd drive. Brasero still crashes too. I'm curious how you got it to work? I have:
Linux desktop 2.6.32-22-generic #35-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jun 1 14:18:25 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux and the exact same DVR-218L. I am currently downloading the newest build of the kernel so hopefully that will fix things. I've been waiting a long time for this. -- sound-juicer, rhythmbox, nautilus crash at audio CD insertion https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/501207 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
