You have been subscribed to a public bug: after i decided to try dual monitoring using my laptop's vga port, after messing with resolutions, refresh rates, and positions i got it all to work. i also can not type on sites that use flash such as chatango. so where can i begin to fix this problem because i can not figure out where to begin. at first i thought it was through apps that used a common protocol but then, while typing this, i discovered it was really the shift key. i also tried disabling some compiz effects such as desktop cube and the water effect but it did nothing. i disabled the other monitor, nothing. i rebooted the system, nothing. this is most definitely the strangest bug i have ever encountered. even external usb keyboard's shift keys will not work. i even tried different keyboard layouts, nothing.
my lack of capitalization is enough proof that the shift key is not working. this sucks a** thanks hope to hear from someone soon ** Affects: gnome-desktop (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- shift key no longer works after using dual monitoring https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/587987 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-desktop in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
