Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
Icon View exposes wrong a11y information about the position of the icons. Way to reproduce: 1. Open a folder in nautilus containing several icons 2. Open accerciser (if not installed, install it by 'sudo apt-get install accerciser') 3. Browse the accessibility information for that folder 4. Accerciser, when navigating through the widgets, it highlights them in red. When selecting any icon, instead of highlighting the icon, it highlights an area on the top left of the icon. It seems like the position is not being correctly exposed. One of the problems with this, from a QA point of view, is that we cannot create automated test for this interface ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: nautilus 1:2.30.1-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-22.33-generic 2.6.32.11+drm33.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-22-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: i386 CheckboxSubmission: a08fd14ff73f03f0a48f9e6d0af6c8e2 CheckboxSystem: bb422ca46d02494cdbc459927a98bc2f Date: Tue Jun 1 12:52:11 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.5) ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: nautilus ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: a11y apport-bug i386 lucid testability -- Icon View exposes wrong accessibility information https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/588250 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
