Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
I am re-reporting this bug, since my old one got closed due to a missing .crash-file. Old Bug can be found here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/580213 Double clicking the crash file did not work, apport tells me: "The program crashed on an assertion failure, but the message could not be retrieved. Apport does not support reporting these crashes." My bug description: Nautilus crashes, when list view gets enabled. This status is saved, so that any future look at that folder will result in a crash. If I start nautilus via terminal it does seem to exit normally, no errors are thrown. I did experiment a little bit with emerald a week ago but cannot trace this error back to my experiments. This happened first to my home- Directory, but it does also happen if I create a new folder and change the view to list view. I also deleted my entire home-Directory and created a new one. The crash is still reproducible. A .crash-File ist now attached to the report.
