This seems to be happening to me after being in an away/busy status for an unknown amount of time. Usually, I will leave the PC to idle and when I return, every account goes back to Available except MSN, which does not seem to respond to status changes anymore afterwards. Killing telepathy-butterfly makes Empathy realize that its disconnected and will present the info bar in its main window. After reconnecting telepathy- butterfly is relaunched and it works fine until the next time I manually or automatically go away/busy.
