FYI: Now, with a fully charged battery, when unplugging the AC power cable, the indicator applet remains silent and does not inform me that the battery is discharging (like it used to do a few days ago); it only statically displays the message that the "Laptop battery is charged".
On a side note, I don't know why Launchpad created bug #567337, which is a copy of this one here.
