Hi Omer, The problem happened when Empathy imported from Empathy, previous version. The same happened with pidgin but I was using Empathy since the previous Ubuntu version. Look the scenario:
On Ubuntu 9.10: I started using empathy, imported my contacts from pidgin and everything worked fine. On Ubuntu 10.4: I lauched empathy and found no contact in my list (same user, same account). I tried to import from pidgin again, nothing happened. So I recreated the accounts. Regards, 2010/4/12 Omer Akram <om2...@gmail.com> > I am not sure what to do with this bug report. By all mean I think > empathy should simply drop the option to import accounts from pidgin. I > will mark this wont fix and also open a bug report to remove the option > to import from pidgin. As now you dont have any problems.
