Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

First:
it's Karmic Koala
I have notebook with external monitor attached.
When I configure virtual monitors with this way: place external monitor above
internal one, and align it's left edges - everything goes OK with moving any
window everywhere.

When I disalign monitors be left or right edge, the strange bug appear. I can't
move windows to central part of secondary (external ) monitor !
when I move window from left part of virtual space on external monitor, it's
not moved. When I move it more - It moves to right part of virtual space with
jump!
the same for moving from right to left.
See screenshots. Maybe it is a bug in Xorg. I dont know. Also I dont use compiz.

** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu)
