The priority should be changed to high. This is a BIG issue, someone capable should fix it.
Bug description: Ubuntu 9.10 -> Slow USB transfer speed, while copying (starts with high speed for about 150m, then speed drops to <1 MB/s. Tried it with several USB sticks. Did not try the terminal yet.
