** Description changed: When I try printing large Photos using GTK applications, the printer prints nothing. Affected applications are at least: gthumb eog f-spot (in karmic) gimp Not affected is at least: Gwenview (KDE) When I print a large photo to a pdf file from these applications, the pdf file looks absolutely correct, but again printing the pdf file from evince or acroread does not work, with okular it works without problems. The CUPS error_log does not complain about anything. The print jobs seem to get send correctly to the printer, the printer then starts heating and processing but then reports "Printed 0/0 pages". The Printer is a Konica Minolta magicolor 2550 connected via network using AppSocket/Jetdirect. All other protocols (e.g. IPP or Samba) also fail. The PPD file is from the Konica Minolta website.
