Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
1) Ubuntu Lucid Beta 2) Window List 2.29.92.1 3) The buttons to select windows in the "Window List" applet should cover the whole space to the top (and bottom) of the panel, so that when the panel itself is placed at the top (or bottom) of the screen, just throwing the cursor upwards and clicking would click on one of the listed windows. This would reduce the need to "aim" for a specific window-button to the horizontal dimension, since in practice window-list buttons would have "infinite" height. Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fitts's_law 4) As it is now, there is a line of 1px or so above (and below) the buttons where clicking does nothing. This reduces greatly the usability of the applet, and decreases user experience. ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Window List applet doesn't follow Fitt's Law https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/551233 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
