Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor
When i get in the Gnome environment my CPU usage goes up to 100% and stays there. The cooler goes to top rotation too. I do not know the process is causing this, coz top or gnome system does not show me the real %, just the graphic shows me that. To i use my Notebook normally i need to enter on Xterm session in GDM. My graphic and sound card are Nvidia proprietary drivers. AMD Mobile Sempron 3400. ** Affects: cpu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: gnome-system-monitor (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: cpu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Excessive CPU usage by Gnome Ubuntu 10.4 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/549504 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-system-monitor in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
