I'm new to Ubuntu and have just loaded 9.10 and guess what ... Movieplayer reports "No URI handler implemented for "dvd". I've read several threads on this but none have helped ... then I found the above ... which looks promising. However, as a newbie, much of the above is like a foreign language to me ... Can anyone offer a step by step guide on how to get DVD playback working ... Ubuntu (URI fix) for Dummies ! Thanks.
