Public bug reported: Binary package hint: brasero
apt-cache policy brasero brasero: Installed: 2.29.91-0ubuntu2 Candidate: 2.29.91-0ubuntu2 Version table: *** 2.29.91-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status I'm working with an Apple Mac OSX 10.4 installation CD image. It began as a .dmg and was converted to .img using dmg2img as per the Ubuntu help wiki instructions. The .img hfsplus file-system is loop-mounted at /mnt/hfs/. When adding all files under /mnt/hfs/ to a new data project Brasero shows a modal dialog box saying: Do you really want to add "English.lproj" to the selection? The children of this directory will have 7 parent directories. Brasero can create an image of such a file hierarchy and burn it; but the disc may not be readable on all operating systems. Note: Such a file hierarchy is known to work on Linux. The problem here is that "English.lproj" exists in lots of sub- directories within the directory-tree being added to the project. Checking with 'find' shows 210 occurrences: find /mnt/hfs -name 'English.lproj' 2>/dev/null | wc -l 210 The dialog should give the full path to the file as an additional element in the dialog, so as not to make the headline title harder to read, but still ensuring the user knows the exact file being reported. ** Affects: brasero (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Ambiguous file name in warning dialog when adding files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/546692 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
