Does not work with Gmail addresses. This feature is available with Gmail (I mean Gmail supports invisible status), since I can set status invisible with chat applet on Gmail and it works, but it does not seem to be implemented with Empathy.
It is currently working with Yahoo and MSN on my Lucid Lynx Beta 1 with Empathy 2.29.13-ubuntu2, but the Global status shows busy when I am using Gmail account with along it. When I log out of Gmail account and keep only the Yahoo and MSN accounts logged in, the global status changes to Invisible. This might not be a bug though. However, there is yet another simple issue with Yahoo. When I set my status to invisible, it works. But when I have a look at it via Edit>Accounts, it displays me as "Available" while I am invisible. -- Setting status to 'Hidden' changes status to 'Busy' instead https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/257190 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
