Public bug reported: Binary package hint: epiphany-browser
Epiphany Web Browser 2.28.0 Ubuntu 9.10 - the Karmic Koala Gnome Desktop 2.28.1 When trying to open an html document (ex. http://sftp//[hostname]/srv/http/index.html) over an sftp connection by right-clicking -> open with -> epiphany I get this error: ------------------- Unable to load page Problem occurred while loading the URL http://sftp//[hostname]/srv/http/index.html Cannot resolve hostname ------------------- Manually typing "file:///home/[username]/.gvfs/sftp on [hostname]/srv/http/index.html" in the address bar opens it. It seems that epiphany doesn't support sftp urls, but it thinks it does. Having it look in .gvfs would solve the problem I think. ** Affects: epiphany-browser (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- epiphany doesn't support sftp urls in karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/539741 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to epiphany-browser in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
