You have been subscribed to a public bug: In Ubuntu Jaunty alpha 6, my real dpi is used (130dpi), but in System → Preferences → Appareance, Fonts, Details…, it is written 96. If I confirm, the "real" dpi used by gnome is set to 96 (so all my fonts become small), and if I put 130 in that spinner, the fonts come back normal, and the settings "130" is now correct in the dialog box.
The problem is only the first time after installation, gnome detects correctly the dpi, but dialog box indicates 96. Once changed, there is no problem anymore. ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- dpi : right value used (130), but 96dpi shown in dialog box https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/347541 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
