Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver
The screensaver fails to start (and so also fails the screen to turn-off) consistently, at least once per day. I have set the screensaver to start after 1 minute of not activity. When starting Ubuntu the screensaver works fine.. But after 2 or 3 times that the screensaver started, it not longer starts again, nor then the screen switches off. Then, if I go to screensaver preferences and I move the slide for it to start after different minutes of not activity it works again (even if I finally choose it to start after 1 minute evenly).
