Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
On my Lenovo T60 the gnome-power-manager has a bug in the last aprox. two versions witch resets the tray icon nearly every minute (+/-) even hiding it doesn't prevent it from leaving a black vertikal line. in the last version this changed to leaving only one vertikal line and than nothing, but still occupying the space in the tray. The only way of getting the space back is to terminate it. The error message on every reset is: (gnome-power-manager:4793): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid cast from `GtkStatusIcon' to `GtkWidget' (gnome-power-manager:4793): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_hide: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed hope i could help, greetings from gernany ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- icon resets every minute leaving a black vertikal line https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/530551 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
