Hi John. The problem is both lack of manpower and time! There is myself and Robin Sonefors actively developing and we've only had sporadic amounts of time to work on this release. I would say I only achieved half the goals I had planned.
So any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated, let me know if there's anything I can do to help (I am the gcalctool maintainer).
