Selecting the correct package is important for ensuring that it gets
looked at by the proper developers.

I'm fairly certain this is not a gnome-terminal bug.  I believe this
because I can see the same problem in Firefox, Chrome and Skype as well
as gnome-terminal.  I am a sysadmin so the problem manifests itself for
me most often in gnome-terminal but it certainly does exist in other
applications.

My best guess at a package would be xorg.  I didn't pick a package
because I don't know that the bug is actually caused by xorg.

I don't mean to sound ungrateful for your help, but I think we can do
better than classifying this as a gnome-terminal bug.  Any gnome-
terminal or xorg developers care to comment ?
