Selecting the correct package is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers.
I'm fairly certain this is not a gnome-terminal bug. I believe this because I can see the same problem in Firefox, Chrome and Skype as well as gnome-terminal. I am a sysadmin so the problem manifests itself for me most often in gnome-terminal but it certainly does exist in other applications. My best guess at a package would be xorg. I didn't pick a package because I don't know that the bug is actually caused by xorg. I don't mean to sound ungrateful for your help, but I think we can do better than classifying this as a gnome-terminal bug. Any gnome- terminal or xorg developers care to comment ? -- Cursor left covering letters when typing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/527006 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
