Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
The "copy tracks to the library" function successfully copies tracks off a CD tomy music library. I inadvertently press this button a second time with the same CD still in the reader. The program responds with the alert "Do you want to overwrite the" existing track name? If I answer "No" the system responds with the following error message "Error transferring track unable to locate encoding profile for mime-type - Close". If I press "Close" once for each track presumably, and insert a new CD to copy tracks, the program fails to copy any additional tracks unless I quit and restaert the program. The first problem is with the error message after entering "No" to the question "Do you want to overwrite...". The second problem is the failure to copy any additional tracks without exiting and restrating the program. 1. lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 9.10 Release: 9.10 2. apt-cache policy rhythmbox rhythmbox: Installed: 0.12.5-0ubuntu5.2 Candidate: 0.12.5-0ubuntu5.2 Version table: *** 0.12.5-0ubuntu5.2 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com karmic-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 0.12.5-0ubuntu4 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages I am running on Ubuntu 9.10 64-bit version.
