Running Mythbuntu 9.10 (amd64): - Autologin behaves randomly but when I have to manually login it never takes more than three attempts.
- Using Intel graphics driver (GMA X4500), so no Nvidia exclusivity here. - xorg.conf presence (or not) makes no difference at all. - Resolution seldom changes to the wrong value.
