Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
I've been running Lucid for a few weeks, but as of an update I did yesterday (picking up changes from the last week) auto-repeat on the keyboard was off by default. (PS/2 keyboard) In addition the sliders on the gnome-keyboard-settings dialog aren't defaulted to sensible values, so it's pretty hard for some one to turn it on to a sane speed. For me I'm finding the absolute minimum on the 'speed' slider is about normal, surely that should be middle of the range. (For others finding this bug, minimum on speed and a few notches up on the delay seems to be usable).
