Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus-cd-burner
After installing nautilus-cd-burner on my computer (that due to containing only an 8GB SSD drive contains a very minimal installation of Lucid Lynx) the insertion of a blank CD or double-clicking on a CD icon on the desktop resuled in nautilus complaining that it does not know how to handle burn:// locations. A Search in the synaptic package manager's database provided me with the information that this feature is provided by the gvfs-backends package - and installing this package in fact fixed this problem: As soon as a blank disk is inserteda nautilus window opens - and whose contents can be burned to the CD by pressing the respective button. If the nautilus-cd-burner package is supposed to do what I assume I assume I have found a missing dependency. Kind regards, Gunter.
