Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
I like my terminal sized 120x40, and not 80x24 as the default settings are. This is usually fixed by editing /usr/share/vte/termcap/xterm (see attached file). Recently, gnome-terminal stopped reading these settings and always opens 80x24. I found there is a way to set these from the profile preferences. Is ignoring /usr/share/vte/termcap/xterm the supposed behavior? ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Gnome-terminal ignores /usr/share/vte/termcap/xterm https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/510483 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
