No, dvdauthor is not installed, even that I doubt that brasero needs dvdauthor. The more I read the manuals the more I think brasero is a dependency for dvdauthor and not vice versa. Also I do want to burn and ISO image with raw data and not a movie.
I have installed dvd+rw-tools which is used by brasero and others.
