Freezing also works if I skip to the text file or if I open a folder that only contains a single text file and no mp3s at all. I'm not sure I did it right but anyway, here is what I did:
First I ran >gdb --pid=pid of totem A lot of lines popped up, far too long to quote them all so here is what they looked like: >Loaded symbols for /usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstvolume.so >Reading symbols from /usr/lib/libgstcontroller-0.10.so.0... >(no debugging symbols found)...done. >Loaded symbols for /usr/lib/libgstcontroller-0.10.so.0 >0xffffe410 in __kernel_vsyscall () >(gdb) continue >Continuing. Then I skipped forward to the textfile: >[Thread -1288623184 (LWP 6428) exited] >[Thread -1271837776 (LWP 6426) exited] >[Thread -1263445072 (LWP 6425) exited] I pressed ctrl-c: >Program received signal SIGINT, Interrupt. >[Switching to Thread -1224866112 (LWP 6416)] >0xffffe410 in __kernel_vsyscall () After this I closed totem and now things start getting weird: >(gdb) q >The program is running. Quit anyway (and detach it)? (y or n) n >Not confirmed. Thought gdb might need some time to know I killed totem... waited for several seconds: >(gdb) q >The program is running. Quit anyway (and detach it)? (y or n) y >Quitting: Can't detach LWP 6417: No such process -- Der GMX SmartSurfer hilft bis zu 70% Ihrer Onlinekosten zu sparen!
