@Erez : I was looking for opening the properties window for my .avi file. Your patch seems to solve my problem. Now I do not get these annoying messages "Creating properties window" and the properties window come quickly up. But I - at the moment (before reboot) - do have the problem that "sudo nautilus" did not work and comes up with:
"(nautilus:10857): Unique-DBus-WARNING **: Error while sending message: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken."
