Pedro, Thanks a lot for your reply. I'm sorry I was not able to answer until now.
I created a new ubuntu user and started evolution on it, configuring the same gmail account i use under my user. This is what I'm using now and I have no problem at all to type the "lowercase o" see: ooooooo ! I'm using English (USA) locale and a "Generic 105-key (Intl) PC" keyboard model, with a "USA Alternative international (former us_intl)" layout. How can I "delete" and recreate my evolution user profile under my regular user name? -- Looks like this is a valid workaround. Is it possible to provide more information for a root cause to be identified? - i'm most willing to help :-) Regards, cl.
