Ekiga echo test is not playing back the sound. No PC to PC connection with sound is possible, also not possible to make a sensufl PC to telephone connection because no sound is played. System plays otherwise sound normally: system sounds, rhythmbox or any other application give sound. Cam is displayed in the echo test, microphone is not tested because sound does not work. microphone and soundsystem are working under system check test for audio. In the attached file is the system configuration: Shortly: I am using Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala, Ekiga version 3.2.5. System is regularly actualized. Out of some other helpforum I have tried the advice to kill the pulseaudio process, but this did not help as well.
