Public bug reported:

I have just newly install my first Ubuntu 9.10 on my laptop Acer Aspire 9410
I have complete install/update all package 
My wireless network is working on Windows but refuses to work on Ubuntu

I have already tried to follow the troubleshooting instruction.

I did the recognition test and the Network shows as being ''DISABLE''

With this result troubleshooting only bring me back to step 5.2.1 so
what next?

The router is a Linksys 2.4 GHz 802.11g, but it should work with Ubuntu
because I was able to connect an other laptop with the same OS


Please help me !!!
