I have a number of internet stations where I've pointed to playlists as locations. Here are some from SOMA FM: http://somafm.com/startstream=groovesalad.pls http://somafm.com/startstream=illstreet.pls http://somafm.com/startstream=dronezone.pls http://somafm.com/startstream=doomed.pls http://somafm.com/startstream=lush.pls http://somafm.com/startstream=missioncontrol.pls When I shift between these through double-clicking on the station name, the information about the currently playing station and song don't get updated timely, or at all. Here are some of the different kinds of inconsistencies: 1. The window title and the info box when hovering over the notification tray icon gets updated, but the song info directly below the toolbar still shows the song from the previously playing station, although it shows the new station name. This persists even when the station changes song (but the window title and the info box update properly). 2. The new station starts playing, but all three areas don't get updated until after a couple of seconds. When they do, the window title and the info box shows only the station name without song info, while the area under the toolbar shows the song. The status in the lower right corner is stuck on "Connecting" although the station is already playing. When the station changes song, the window title and the info box gets updated, but the area under the toolbar does not. My impression is that these problems are related to the use of the playlist indirection instead of pointing directly to the audio stream.
