I just did some more testing, if the zip file is located locally, this
doesn't happen.

I can replicate it with my original configuration which is the zip file
is located on a remote network share, so the error might occur with
creation of temporary files possibly.

An example of how I'm accessing the .zip file in question, what is in my 
nautilus location bar:
smb://mydomain;myusern...@remoteservername/remoteshare/remotedir

In this dir is my zip file and I have write access to this share/dir.

If I try to rename a file inside the zip I get "An error occurred while
adding files to the archive." and the file I'm trying to rename is no
longer in the zip.
