I also posted this bug 397192, but it seems to fit here better. It seems to me this is a problem that occurs when a file is moved. I've had the same issues with pdf, tga, etc.. All thumbnails will load fine if you move the file back to the original location. The problem tends to happen occasionally if you drag the file to the new location. Using cut and paste (as far as I can tell) doesn't cause the problem. (-still testing this since the problem occurs randomly) Once the problem occurs I can never get the file's thumbnail to work correctly no matter where I move it. (Unless I move it to the original location)
I've tried deleting ./thumbnail and it still persists. It will remake all thumbnails but still freeze on the files that were broken from a move. -- Nautilus "hangs" trying to generate thumbnail previews in folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/479679 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
