Maybe this isn't the right place for that particular discussion, but the discussion should be had somewhere, and I don't see how it could end any other way than either for f-spot to be fixed or for it to drop to universe/multiverse. It's simply unacceptable that a default application knowingly destroys user data year in and year out.
