After a reboot, the screensaver did activate. However, the LCD display did not appear to fully turn off when it should have. I expected it to enter the no-signal low power state where the power light would turn amber.
It never reached this state although it did go blank. In addition, 9.10 was never put to sleep. I was able to see the failures to turn the LCD display off properly followed by failure to sleep, by waiting the indicated times (3min for screensaver, 5min for turn off of LCD display and 10min more for OS sleep) after logging on. -- NVIDIA 9500gt - Ubuntu 9.10 Screensaver Fails to Activate 2009-11-11 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/481013 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to yelp in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
