I have the same issue on a Dell Mini 10v. Samsung HM160HI (160gig 5400rpm SATA 2.5" drive) 250 bad sectors in palimpsest
smartctl reports 0 issues running a full test in HUTIL 2.1 (Samsung's low level tester) results in "No errors" OSX was running on it with no complaints for the last couple days.
