Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
I'm using Karmic Koala with latest security updates only. No external repos. I experience rhythmbox segfault constantly while changing sound volume fast enough using it's own volume slider or mouse scroll (you should play something to reproduce this bug). Meaning lines from dmesg: [36883.752317] rhythmbox[8564]: segfault at 0 ip (null) sp bfec89ac error 4 in libgconf-2.so.4.1.5[110000+2f000] [36916.909418] rhythmbox[8611]: segfault at 0 ip (null) sp bfe25b6c error 4 in librt-2.10.1.so[110000+7000] [37590.249647] rhythmbox[8735]: segfault at 0 ip (null) sp bf93946c error 4 in libglade-2.0.so.0.0.7[110000+16000] ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Wed Nov 4 19:19:35 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/rhythmbox InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.5) NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: rhythmbox 0.12.5-0ubuntu4 ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/bash LANG=en_US.UTF-8 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-14.48-generic SourcePackage: rhythmbox Uname: Linux 2.6.31-14-generic i686 ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Rhythmbox Segmentation Fault on volume change. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/474374 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
